Self Care Saturday: Feel Good Movies

This time of year can kind of suck. Face it. There aren’t really any more holidays (Valentine’s Day doesn’t count), it is cold, dark, and damp. It can be hard to make time to be outside and get some much needed sunshine. Spring is coming though, right? For me, and many others I’m sure, this time of year does nothing for my mental health. I feel more depressed, shut in, and just down overall. So, self care becomes even more important. One of my favorite things to do is make a bowl of pop corn, crawl into bed, and watch my favorite movies. With this weekend being pretty cold again, here are a few of my favorite movies to watch when I’m having a Self Care Saturday!

Note: I’m including comedy specials in this list as long as they are one “movie” and not multiple episodes.

Make Happy, Bo Burnham (2016)

Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993)

Moana (2016)

Iliza: Elder Millennial (2018)

John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid (2015)

Hercules (1997)

This list changes every once in a while but I definitely have my go to films that I love to watch when I need a pick me up. What movies are on your list?
