Winter TAG

Okay, it might be lazy blogging but I’m trying to get into a sustainable blogging schedule for 2019. With that, my head is feeling kind of cloudy today and a bit confused. I want to write and read but I also would be content being just asleep for days. With that, I’m going to be doing this round of winter themed questions, excluding a few.

Top 2 Winter Beauty Essentials

  1. Eos Lip Balm– it is the only one that doesn’t make my chapped lips worse. I used a generic lip balm that someone had given me for Christmas and my lips were cracked the next day. It was gross.
  2. A berry lip color- If you can’t wear a dark or light purple-y color in the winter, when can you wear it?

Top 2 Winter Fashion Essentials

  1. Tall boots that can dress up a pair of leggings or add an extra layer to keep my legs warm if I’m wearing a dress!
  2. Knit hat to keep my head warm and hair under control on a windy day. Plus they’re super cute! I personally have a small collection of knit hats with different pom poms on them.

What shoes do you tend to wear most in the winter?

Boots! Living in New England, winters are cold and wet. You need a good pair of boots in order to make it through with your feet still in tact.

Favorite winter accessory?

I’ll go with an already given answer and say a knit hat. I wear them pretty often in the winter and they’re the only thing that doesn’t make my hair a knotted mess!

Favorite winter nail polish?

Anything dark.

Hot Cocoa or Apple Cider>

Can I say both? Not together but it really depends on my mood for what I want to drink. I probably lean more towards cocoa in the winter and leave most of my cider drinking for the autumn.

Favorite winter candle?

Winter from Bath and Body Works, hands down.

Snowboarding or skiing?

Tubing. I’m not coordinated enough for snowboarding or skiing. I’d love to try cross country skiing though!

Have you ever gone ice skating? Are you any good or do you fail miserably?

I actually used to have a coach for ice skating. I could do some jumps and some basic tricks but I had to give it up for theatre rehearsals. I still love skating when I can though!

Does it snow where you live?

Yes it does! I wish it would snow more though sometimes. It’s January and the last big snow was in early November.

Have you ever made a snowman?

Yes I have! Its been years though.

What holiday do you celebrate?

Christmas and New Years!

Favorite Christmas song?

Winter Wonderland by Bing Crosby.

Favorite Christmas movie?

The Year Without a Santa Claus or Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

What is your favorite winter treat?

Christmas cookies. Not that I couldn’t make them any other time of year but they’re best in the winter.

Do you have anything fun planned for this winter?

I’m hoping to go to the White Mountains for a long weekend to go hiking, tubing, and just relax. I was hoping to go down to Washington D.C for a weekend but with the government shutdown, it wouldn’t be worth it at the moment.
