With 2018 winding down, it is time to start looking at what comes next. 2019 is just days away and today I’m setting some personal goals that I want to accomplish during the year.
Last year, my goals included:
- Reading 10-12 books
- Cook more
- Make healthier choices
- and Grow Stronger Relationships
I think it is fair to say that only one or two of those was actually completed. Plus, it is definitely difficult to measure some of those goals.
For this year, I’m keeping my goals list short again and making some changes.
Read 50 Books
While 10-12 seemed difficult at times in 2018, I think I can manage 50 somehow this year. I want to read more so I force myself to. One way or another.
In 2019 I want to travel. I want to go somewhere I haven’t been before, or at least haven’t been to as an adult. Currently, my big bucket list location is New Orleans. Anyone have any thoughts about the Big Easy in September?
I had gotten really into the idea of journaling during 2018. In 2019, I want to actually make sure that I do it every day. Not just let it fall to the side after a week. We’ll see how that goes.
Exercise Three Days A Week
I’ll say it: I hate to exercise. The idea of most gyms makes my skin crawl, mostly because of the price, and I just don’t like them. With that said, I’m starting to really hate how I feel and look (weight wise). It is time to do something about it!
Oh dear lord, I need to do this. I’m going to teach myself to budget and stick to it.
