August Instagram Round Up

So August ended and it seems like September is already flying by! So before it seems way too late, lets take a look at some of my favorite posts from my personal Instagram page from last month!

The monthΒ  started with Tim and I having a short weekend getaway to Misquamicut in Rhode Island. We camped at one of the local state parks and had a blast– aside from the rain that plagued us the first day we were there. This picture was from my favorite night of the trip. All summer long, I had been saying how I wanted to go sit somewhere together and watch the sunset. Well, we did it! We brought out some drinks and our air sofa and watched the sunset on a mostly empty beach. Once it was dark, we played some music and watched the stars. We even lucked out that we were there during the peak (or close enough) of the Perseids Meteor Shower so we were able to see a ton of shooting stars. It was an unusally romantic night for us and my favorite night of the summer.

Just another entry in our hunt for finding the best breakfast in Central Connecticut…

Absolutely inspiring. That’s all I have to say.

I’ve been trying to read a lot more in August and fit in breakfast. A few times I was able to stop by my local Panera and do both before work.

This was such a cool night! We went to the Yard Goats’ Strike Out Cancer night as a work outing and we able to be on the field. It was an absolutely gorgeous night to be at the ball park!

To go with the unofficial end of summer, I went with my best friend Callie to Roger Williams ZooΒ and we had a blast! You can read all about it here on the blog!
