For the month of July I attempted to do a Daily Photo Challenge. As you can probably imagine, that didn’t quite work out. That isn’t to say that I didn’t get a few great pictures in for the month though! So, while I’m currently trying to figure out how to keep my tent as dry as possible while camping at the beach (damn rain!) enjoy this July Insta Round Up!
Of course I have to start off with the 4th of July! It’s become a tradition in our house that all of the “kids” come over and we do our own fireworks show in the backyard. You’d be surprised what $50 worth of fireworks from Target can do.

#JulyPhotoChallenge Day 5: Floral🌸 One of my favorite #summer activities is walking through the rose garden at #ElizabethPark. They always have the most interesting and beautiful flowers! #Rose #SummerRoses #WeHa #WestHartford #PublicPark #RoseGarden #Summer #DailyPhotoChallenge
One of my favorite places around where I live is the rose garden. There are always interesting colored roses here to catch your eye. Plus it is just incredibly relaxing to walk through the gardens. Not to mention that this time of year there are always weddings happening and your chance to see those precious moments. Ahhh…

Sometimes I dabble in make up. I also wrote a post on this look that you can check out here.
I’ve always loved taking pictures from this vantage point in Hartford. Honestly, my phone is full of them. There is just something about this gold building (literally called The Gold Building) that always catches my eye.
So, we made it up to Boston for, arguably, the worst concert I’ve ever been to. At least we had some fun though going around to different bars!
Towards the end of the month, my brother and I tried to enjoy our town’s summer carnival with mixed results. At least we won an alien at the Toilet Toss. Fun Fact: cotton candy does not hold up after a day.
Finally checked off one of my summer bucket list items and did some tie dye creations!
Well, that’s it for today! Look for posts about this camping trip I’m on coming soon!
