July Favorites: Tarte and TOP

And another month bites the dust. It feels like so much was squished into July and I have no idea what I even did. It was like dreaming but in a good way. If that makes sense? The point is the July was a very busy month. Here were my favorites in beauty and music from this month.

Beauty

I fell in LOVE with Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette. I’d been eyeing this palette for a while before deciding to jump on it in time for my cousin’s wedding. I’m so happy that I had it because it is perfect. If you’re looking for something that you can wear on its own or use to amp up a look, this is it. While all shimmers, this cream shadow palette is perfect for everything. The colors are super pigmented and intense. The only draw back is that they will transfer a little bit if you have hooded eyes. Otherwise, this is an amazing palette.

Music

This was a great month for music, or at least I thought so!

Jumpsuit/Nico and the Niners (2018) (singles) by Twenty One Pilots- TOP came back this month with two amazing single. They also announced their fall Bandito Tour and put out videos for the two single for their upcoming album, Trench. I honestly love these songs and listen to them on a daily basis. I can’t wait for the rest of this album to be released.

Almost Everyday (2018) by Matt and Kim- July was an album month for me. This new release from Matt and Kim has been on my daily play list almost entirely. It’s just such an incredible album lacking any weak songs, in my opinion.
