Concert TAG!

It is concert day. When this post is going up, I’ll be on my way to Boston for tonight’s concert: Infected Mushroom. With that said, I thought that today would be a great day to do a Concert TAG here on the blog! Join in and answer the questions the in the comments! I found these questions here from a lovely blogger from Vancouver, Canada.

What was the first concert you attended?
The first concert I ever attended was Avril Lavigne with Boys Like Girls on the Best Damn Tour in 2008 (I think). It was at Mohegan Sun and I remember feeling so damn cool for getting to go and not have my parents there!

What was your most recent concert?
Matt and Kim at College Street Music Hall in New Haven back in April! Tim and I saw them right before their latest album came out– plus it was our first concert together! If you haven’t seen Matt and Kim live before, I highly recommend it!

How many concerts have you been to?
My conservative estimate is 20 since 2008 but hopefully that number is going up at a much faster rate!

Which artist have you seen the most live?
Twenty One Pilots! I’ve seen them at least three times. Here’s a clip that is actually from a show I was at!

What’s the furthest you’ve ever traveled for a concert?
Chicago. So 886 miles!

Modern Baseball at Lollapalooza 2016 in Chicago’s Grant Park!

Best opening act you’ve seen?
That is a tough one! Twenty One Pilots were an opening act for Panic! at the Disco and Fallout Boy when I saw them in 2013. MisterWives was an opening act for Panic! at the Disco in 2017. A lot of my current favorite bands all started as opening acts. So they are all the best. Clearly.

Have you met any bands/artists at concerts?
Yes! I’ve met Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Twenty One Pilots, and Amanda Palmer!

Have you met internet friends at concerts?
Yes! When I saw The Wonder Years open for Yellowcard in 2012.

Have you ever caught a guitar pick/drumstick or setlist?
No…. Someday maybe.

Best concert you’ve been to and why?
Is it cheating to say Lollapalooza? Three-Four days of concerts is just an amazing experience that everyone should try to do at least once.

So that’s my concert answers, what are yours? I have one question for you guy, the readers: If you could see any band/artist, who would you want to see?
