Summer is unofficially here and that means that it is time to come up with my Summer 2018 Bucket List! Summer is all about adventure while also balancing work life. My goal for the summer is to make the most of it. I want to do as much as I possibly can in the months ahead. Too many summers have gone by feeling a little wasted. This is the summer that won’t be wasted!
Host a Party with Friends
Item number one of my summer bucket list is to host a party for my friends. While this will definitely be a challenge seeing as I live with my parents, I still want to do something fun with my friends. If I can make it work, I’m hoping that I can host a brunch party and and cocktail backyard party. As these things happen, I’ll make sure to post about the parties and share my tips and recopies!
Group Camping Trip
In the spirit of spending more time with friends this summer, I’d love to organize a group camping trip. The boyfriend and I have picked up backpacking as our summer hobby but, of course, not everyone is going to want to do that. A group camping trip to the beach though, that could be something everyone can have fun with! Not to mention turning it into a bit of a glamping experience for everyone can make it even more fun!

Cheer On the Yard Goats!
So where I live, we have a minor league team called the Yard Goats. Surprisingly, going to their games is a ton of fun! Dunkin Donuts Park is, supposedly, one of the best minor league baseball stadiums in the country. It is gorgeous. Plus the food is fantastic, the beers are affordable, and the tickets are well worth it at $6! Plus the park regularly does theme nights that make going to games even more fun!
Go to a Drive In
Here in Connecticut, we still have a few Drive In movie theaters around. Some of them only show classic movies while others show new releases. This summer my goal is to make it to at least one classic movie screening and one newer release screening at a Drive In.
Concerts, Concerts, Concerts
One of my absolute favorite things to do in the world is go to concerts. There is nothing better than going to a show and seeing a band perform live. To hear a song the way it was intended to be heard. To feel the energy of a crowd make or break a night. It is electric. Fingers crossed for going to lots of concerts this summer!
