7 Years

A lot can change in seven years. You hair changes, your cells are dying and regenerating. You become in a different person. If you’re a young adult, think of where you were seven years ago. For me, seven years ago I was 16. A junior in high school and a lot on my plate.

For some reason, I started thinking about how much things can change in such a short amount of time. Seven years is both no time and so much time all at once. With that thought going through my head and while I’m dealing with a state of feeling like I’m stuck in life, I wanted to go through what has changed in my life over the last seven years and make some predictions about the next seven.

Seven Years Ago: 2011

This time seven years ago, I was wrapping up my junior year of high school. I was in full college prep mode and seemed to have everything in front of me.

I love this! 7 years ago I was also a junior in high school. I was getting over a breakup and felt so lonely all the time. I was nervous for college and trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I also started my first job. It is so crazy how much has changed since!

Absolutely! I was incredibly focused on school and getting into college that I had forgotten what was going on in my life seven years ago! So much has changed and what seems to be not a lot of time!
