It is February! It’s the month of love and that means that I’m gonna be talking a lot about relationships this month. This will be especially easy since this month has Valentine’s Day and my one year anniversary with my boyfriend, Tim. To kick off this month, I thought I’d start off with a TAG. Tim and I will be trying to answer these questions that we’ve come up with and taken from here and here. Enjoy!
My responses will be in pink and answers about him and his response will be in blue about me.
1. When/where did we meet?
Initially we met online via tinder. First in-person meeting was at the Barnes and Noble in Blue Back Square on February 5, 2017.
Tinder and then we met at Barnes and Noble and then World of Beer followed by Bar Louie. We started talking end January.
2. Where was our first date?
We met at Barnes and Noble and then went to get drinks at World of Beer and then got cocktails at Bar Louie.
World of Beer.
3. When is my birthday?
4. What color are my eyes?
5. What’s my weirdest habit?
Maybe it isn’t weird but I think he takes turns when driving really, REALLY slow.
Forcing me to do things for the blog….
6. What am I good at? Okay at? Bad at?
He’s good at a lot of stuff, like computers and dealing with me in a bad mood and always wanting to try new things. He’s okay at the romance stuff, it could definitely use some work. I don’t know if he’s bad at anything!
She’s good at a lot of different things. Caring for people. She’s okay at driving. She’s bad at driving, mostly in tight places. I usually have to tell her what to do or just do it myself.
7. Where would I love to travel to?
Anywhere where he can watch a race. He loves watching Formula One races and that kind of stuff.
New Hampshire. Canada. Those are the places she talks about the most.
8. Favorite date we’ve been on?
I’ve got a special place in my heart for our second date when we went to Dave and Busters and he was trying to act so cool. Later he told me I was oblivious to him putting some moves on me!
Going to New Hampshire, the time we went camping was really fun. We went hiking and we drank a lot.
9. Complete the sentence: “My boyfriend/girlfriend….”
My boyfriend is so lucky. But so am I!
My girlfriend really likes cuddles more than I ever expect.
10. Who is the dominant one in the relationship?
Most of the time, her.
11. Am I a morning or a night person?
He’s a night person, 100%.
She’s a morning person.
12. Would I rather stay in for the night or go out?
Stay in, when she does go out it isn’t usually to party or anything.
13. What song makes you think of me?
Flowers In Your Hair by the Lumineers
Heroes by David Bowie
14. What is our go to date night?
We go out for drinks a lot.
15. What is your favorite thing about me?
I love that you’re always positive, even when you’re in a bad mood. And that you challenge me.

This challenge did something that I wasn’t expecting. Over the months or years or however long you are with someone, you should never forget that communication is the key to a strong relationship. While these questions are not particularly challenging, they opened up some conversations that we had hadn’t had or hadn’t had recently. It was interesting to see that we were on the same page but honest when we didn’t know the answer because we hadn’t talked about this topic before. While this seems silly, as Tim said about being forced to do this for my blog, it did some good. We got to talk. We got to share where we wanted to travel to. We go to explain our answers to teach other. It was a wonderful moment that I hope we can keep having.
