For Christmas, I got a bunch of tarte skincare products. I got the Tight & Bright multi-mask, Deep Dive cleansing gel, Drink of H2O hydrating boost moisturizer, Brighter Days highlighting moisturizer, and C-Brighter eye treatment. On the side I also got a few face masks as well that I wanted to try out. I’ve been doing this routine for about a week or so now and have been getting some pretty great results so, I thought I’d share.
In the morning, I keep it simple. I’m always in a rush to get out the door and I’m not willing to wake up any earlier than I already am. For morning skincare, I stick to a quick wash and moisturizer.
I start off with hot water and a wash cloth and, if needed, a little bit of my Black sugar and charcoal scrub from CVS. I wake up my face and try and start some form of exfoliating and breakout fighting for the start of the day.
I then move on to make up prep and moisturizing my face. I usually only do eye make up for my day to day so I don’t have to wait for everything to dry down typically. I apply some of the Drink of H2O moisturizer all over my face and even down my neck, making sure to massage it in well. After this, I apply some of the C-Brighter eye cream to my orbital bone area. To finish up with my face, I apply some of the Brighter Days moisturizer to my cheek bones and I’m all done.
After a long day of work, I usually feel like my skin looks a bit duller. Especially this time of year with the air being so dry and so cold. That seems to have stopped since I’ve switched to this routine! Even after work, my skin still felt moisturized and plump. I couldn’t have been happier.
Before bed or before heading into the shower, I remove all of my make up with my favorite make up wipes and then wash my face with the Deep Dive cleansing gel. I love this stuff! It feels so light weight but makes my skin feel so clean too. And a little goes a long way! One pump really does do the trick. Following this gel, although not every day, I apply the Tight and Bright multi-mask and let that do it’s thing for about twenty minutes or so.
Once I’ve washed off the mask and showered, I apply the H2O moisturizer and C-Brighter eye cream again and then it is off to bed! A few nights during the week, or when I feel I really need it, I do a cloth mask as well before or in lieu of the moisturizers.
I’ve found these products to work incredibly well for me over the last week or two. They’ve worked together to brighten my skin and fight off the winter dryness.
